We understand that one of the main concerns when purchasing pre-owned designer goods is authenticity. Many of our stores use Entrupy software as part of the item authentication process. Entrupy is an authenticator of luxury items and sneakers used in many of our stores* with a 99.1 per cent success rate. It uses a combination of artificial intelligence and microscopy to determine whether something is authentic.
When the item is scanned using Entrupy, a set of microscopic images are collected. Machine learning then compares these images against a database containing millions of records from known authentic and known counterfeit products.
If the item passes Entrupy’s system checks, an Entrupy Authentication Certificate will be produced so you know the item you are purchasing is authentic.
Other items such as proof of purchase and the original certificate of authenticity also help confirm the item’s authenticity.
